Lyric video maker

Paste your lyrics, drop in your song, and export a synced lyric video, free, in your browser.

No download. No account. No credit card required.

A lyric video should take an afternoon, not a video-editing course. Motion Text gives you a real timeline without the learning curve: import your track, paste the lyrics one line per row, and Sync times every word to the vocal. It isn't spacing words evenly and hoping: it isolates the singing and listens to it, so the words land where they are actually sung. Every line stays draggable until it feels right.

When the timing is close, make it sing. Karaoke mode highlights each word as it plays, typewriter reveals lines word by word, and five text effects cover everything from soft fades to punchy pops. Apply a visual preset (Cinematic noir, Neon pulse, Dream haze) and the whole video picks up a consistent look: typography, colors, grain, and motion together.

Sync that listens

Paste your lyrics and every word is timed to the vocal, free, in English, with no account needed to try. Lines you want to nudge stay draggable with 0.1-second snapping.

Karaoke word highlights

Words light up as they are sung, on real per-word timing rather than a metronome. Or bring your own from an LRC file.

Beat-aware timeline

Your audio is analyzed locally into a waveform with beat and phrase markers, so cuts land on the music.

Real MP4 export

Export a valid H.264 MP4 with AAC audio straight from Chrome or Edge, or queue a 4K server render with Pro.

One project, three formats

Create independent 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 variants in one click for YouTube, Reels, and TikTok.

Questions

Is the lyric video maker really free?

Yes. The full editor, lyric sync, karaoke effects, and browser MP4 export are free, syncing included, with a few songs a day. Free exports carry a small watermark; Pro ($15/month, or $120 billed yearly) removes it, raises the sync limit, and adds full-length 4K server renders.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Motion Text runs entirely in your browser. Exports render locally with WebCodecs in current Chrome or Edge.

Can it sync lyrics to the music automatically?

Yes. Paste your lyrics and Sync isolates the vocal and times every word to it. Because you supply the words, it only has to work out when they are sung. That is far more accurate than asking a model to guess the lyrics. It is English-only today, and about one song in five (a heavily processed vocal, or a long instrumental intro) needs a few lines nudged by hand with Tap to sync.

What about copyrighted music?

You supply your own audio and are responsible for having rights to it. Motion Text never uploads your song anywhere for browser exports. Rendering happens on your machine.
