Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Motion Text (https://motiontext.video). By using the service you agree to them. They're written to be read — if anything is unclear, ask us at [email protected].

The service

Motion Text is a browser-based studio for making videos from words, images, and audio. The free tier includes the full editor, browser MP4 export (with a small watermark), and up to 3 saved workspace projects. Pro ($9/month) removes the watermark and adds queued 1080p/4K server renders, AI transcription, AI background generation, and unlimited projects. Feature limits (such as daily AI and render quotas) exist to keep the service fast and affordable and may be adjusted over time.

Your account

Accounts are created with Google sign-in. You're responsible for activity on your account, including anything done with agent tokens you create — treat tokens like passwords and revoke any you no longer use. You must be at least 13 years old.

Billing

Pro is a monthly subscription billed by Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time from Account → Manage billing; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period, and there are no partial-month refunds. If a renewal payment fails, your account returns to the free tier after a short grace period — your projects are never deleted for billing reasons. We'll give notice before any price change takes effect.

Your content

Everything you make with Motion Text is yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: storing your projects and media, processing them (for example, rendering your video on our servers), and displaying them back to you and to people you share links with. We claim no ownership and will never use your content for marketing without asking.

You're responsible for having the rights to what you upload — especially music. A lyric video of a song you don't have rights to may be blocked or muted by the platform you post it to; that's between you and the platform, but the responsibility for the upload is yours.

Acceptable use

Don't use Motion Text to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harm people — including uploading unlawful content or content that exploits minors. Don't probe, overload, or attempt to circumvent the service's security, quotas, or watermarking. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

AI features

Transcriptions and generated images are produced by machine-learning models and can be wrong, odd, or imperfect — review them before publishing. AI features depend on a third-party provider (OpenAI) and may be briefly unavailable when the provider is.

Availability and warranty

Motion Text is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product evolves. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $10 if you've paid nothing).

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the account page, which removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and will say why unless legally prevented.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date above and note the change here. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
